Fairly tough hike with a good amount of snow that made for some loose footing, especially toward the top. At 8 miles and 3200 feet of elevation it gives just enough elevation to give a good workout, but for this region, it is makes for a very attainable summit. The elevation didn't bother me much and it was amazing going through different climate zones. A winding 1.3-mile paved road leading to the scenic summit is open for visitors to drive in summer and on spring and fall weekends. The brushes can get tight so I recommend pants and a long sleeve shirt. Make the 3,200-foot climb up to Miller Peak and take some time to enjoy the views of the Stuart Range and the Teanaway.
